Online Sources - Basic Elements

Author or creator. “Title of Webpage, Chapter, or Segment .” Title of Web Site. Publisher or sponsor of Website,

Date of publication. Web. Date of access. <Web Address>.

Note: Only include the Web Address if it's requested or the site is difficult to locate without it.

For individual pages on a website, include the author's name, if known, followed by citation information for the entire website itself.

Listserv, discussion group, blog

Editor, screen name, author, or compiler name (if available). “Posting Title.” Name of Site. Version number (if

available). Name of institution/organization affiliated with the site (sponsor or publisher). Medium of

publication. Date of access.

Tweet

User last name, first name (Twitter name). "Twitter message." Date, time. Tweet.
